Directors

Rick Jensen

Rick has directed the Hands in Harmony Carolers for 20 years.  He has performed with several groups including Utah State University’s Hands Up and Sunburst Singers.  With these groups he performed throughout the western half of the United States, as well as Japan, Korea, Hawaii, and on board the Carnival Cruise Ship “Holiday.”  He is a recipient of the Hands Up presidential scholarship, the Sunburst Singer scholarship award, and Utah State vocal scholarship award.  Since moving to St. George, he has been involved with many different musical productions, which include Les Miserables at Tuacahn.  He is the owner and operator of Harmony Audio Recordings and is a professionally certified Interpreter for the Deaf.

Wendy Jensen

Wendy is a professionally certified Interpreter for the Deaf.  She graduated from the University of Utah an has taught American Sign Language at Salt Lake Community College and Dixie State University.  She served an ASL mission from 1989 – 1991 for the LDS Church. Wendy was a member of the Mormon Youth Chorus, a singer and a dancer in the New Horizons Choir at Utah State University, and President of the LD Singers at Snow College.  She toured throughout the western states while performing with these groups.  She has written e-books on Parenting, Motherhood, and Sign Language.  Her greatest joy is her family.
